Problem
Repetition was the product problem
Authoring a large set of multiple-choice questions requires repeating the same sequence of field selection, question entry, answer mapping, and confirmation. The tool explored whether prepared content could be transformed into those actions without hiding what would be submitted.
System
Parse, map, review, then apply
The browser-side workflow reads prepared question content, maps answers and options, handles supported math content, and drives the authoring interface. The useful boundary is review before submission rather than invisible automation.
Evidence
Source-backed scope
The public repository provides the code and project description. This case study does not claim current compatibility because the third-party interface and the project itself have not been maintained recently.
Reflection
A small tool can still reveal product judgment
The project is useful in the portfolio because it shows attention to repetitive user work, browser integration, and content transformation. Its limited maintenance state is part of the story rather than something to disguise.
Result
Outcomes
- Implemented a repeatable workflow for turning prepared MCQ content into browser authoring actions.
- Reduced the number of repetitive field-entry steps required for larger question sets.
- Kept the public project focused on authoring assistance rather than answer disclosure or cheating workflows.
Boundaries
Known limitations
- The project is not actively maintained and may not match the current Quizizz interface.
- No time-saved or educator-adoption metric is claimed.
- The portfolio intentionally excludes the separate answer-spoiler repository from featured work.
